Description
Along the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, near the old banana port of Golfito, there lies a long sandy beach that stretches for 6 miles along the warm blue waters of the Golfo Dulce. As far as the eye can see, the sparkling waters are fringed by coconut palms and almond trees.
This remote and un-touristy region is one of the last areas of Costa Rica to be discovered by foreign travelers – it features some of the most beautiful and untouched areas of the country. Wildlife and sea life abound in this spectacular corner of Costa Rica, at Playa Zancudo.
