Gedser Light Boat Harbour lies on the far southern tip of Falster, near the southernmost point of Denmark’s reach into the Baltic Sea. It is sited in a peaceful natural harbour, welcome to sailors, since the seas around here are notoriously rough. The harbour has capacity for around two hundred and fifty vessels and it is a pleasant place to come and observe the mix of fishing and pleasure vessels. There are cafes near the harbour. There is a beach nearby. The harbour has facilities for users, including laundry and telephones.
