The Eisbach (“ice brook”) is a small, man-made river that flows through the Englischer Garten in Munich.

At a bridge near the Haus der Kunst the Eisbach forms a standing wave about 1 m (3 ft) high, which is a popular urban surfing spot.

Localism is high and the water is shallow. For experienced surfers only.
