Mancora is a left hand point break that breaks over a reef that is shallow in certain places, especially at low tide. It can be a near perfect wave when the conditions are right, providing long walled up rides and possible barrels. The waves can reform and other waves can form and break nearby in both directions. The wave is good for all types of skills. Don’t be surprised to see professionals surfing next to beginners. It can get extremely crowded there and waves stealing is common.
