    That’s amazing. I’ve sailed in the slough many times and had no idea any shipbuilding took place right there. I guess, a great hiding spot!

    Right there, at what was a USGS facility just west of the Stanford crew team’s boathouse. It looks like the dock might still be usable for a fairly long vessel, given sufficient dredging and restored tie-ups.
