Great cove to kayak into for spotting otters and seals among thick kelp beds. Very beautiful shoreline within Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Check with Reserve where launching is permitted. Although there is a small boat ramp and parking lot on the W shore of the cove, launching may not be permitted.
