The turn off to Puako is on Highway19 about 3.4 miles South of the junction of 270 and 19. Continue down Puako Road for 3 miles. Parking is in dirt area. Find lava cove next to small tree, this is the entry. Swim out 270 mag about 100 meters and find lava tubes. Explore area to sloping ridge and look for gardeneels in sandy area at 70’.
