Description

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is the world’s largest private, nonprofit ocean research, engineering and education organization.

Research vessels:

R/V Atlantis: a 274-foot (83 meter) vessel specially outfitted for the vehicles of the National Deep Submergence Facility.

R/V Knorr: a 279-foot (84.5-meter) vessel with an eight-week autonomy.

R/V Oceanus: A 177 feet (54 meters) vessel designed for cruises lasting two to three weeks.
