A User's Public Page

As a BlooSee user, you have a public page. This is the summary other users see when they search for you in the system. You can decide what type of information your public page shows, by editing your privacy settings.

The URL for that page is always www.bloosee.com/user/[profile_name] where profile_name is some sort of nickname the system assigns you when you register, based on your full name. You can always change your profile name (provided it's not taken by another user) by editing your personal information.

Friends

You can add users to your friend list at any time. To do that, from a person details or a people list you can select “Add as a friend” option. Note, however, that someone will have to confirm you as a friend before actually being a friend of yours.

Being friends with someone means you can share information with that person that other people on the system don't see.

Groups

Users can create groups at any time. A group is, well, a group of users who share a common interest. Examples of groups could be "Tarifa kitesurfers", or "Laser sailors", for instance.

Groups have discussions, which are small forums to discuss specific subjects. Any group member can start a discussion, or reply to an existing one.
